Avery Dennison intended to have a set name and number kit in place to use among all clubs prior to the season 2023/24 when La Liga undertook a re-branding. The effort was voted down by a mayority of clubs in La Liga which preferred a more personalized style. The result would be a compromise where the club decides color + can apply club logo in numbers , while La Liga decides the font and size for letters and numbers.

Thus the printing has never been used in La Liga matches. Only for pre-season matches.
