Madrid is the capital of Spain. It is also home of the stock exchange and the financial sector in Spain. Madrid is Spain's biggest city with a population of 3 million in the city itself and 6 million inhabitants in the metropolitan area. Madrid is home to 4 football clubs playing on a regular basis in the first division: Rayo Vallecano , Getafe , Atletico and Real Madrid. Madrid is well-known for its' nightlife and innumerous bars , restaurants , and nightclubs. Many Spaniards prefer to watch the soccer matches in one of the neighbourhood bars rather than at home. Thus most bars have atleast one TV set broadcasting matches from the Spanish Primera Division. If there is no live match on another popular activity in the bar is to read the daily sport's paper "Marca" which has the largest circulation of ANY paid newspaper in Spain. And the second biggest of all newspapers! Futbol is big.
