Sevilla Fútbol Club is a soccer team from the city of Seville in Andalucia, Spain. The club was founded in 1905 just 2 years before the city rivals Real Betis. Sevilla FC plays in the stadium of Estadio Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán with a capacity of around 45000 spectators. The uniform consists of a white jersey - white shorts and black socks. The club has won the Spanish League once and the UEFA Cup twice. From 1962 and until 2006 Sevilla was left dry when it came to playing for titles. However, under the presidency of José María del Nido Benavente who assumed the post in 2002 the club saw a resurgence culminating in the UEFA Cup titles in 2005/06 and 2006/07.
